The latest patch for Battlefield 2, v1.50, by EA/DICE. I downloaded 1.41 and 1.5 then it would crash back to desk top so i uninstalled and now reinstalling plz tell me wut ive done wrong im now trying to install 1.41 first then 1.50 instead of both at the same time takes for ever.

I was checking out some new features of this latest update of windows 10, among them application protection, which had already tried to change settings before but without success of making PR work.
But the secret was in the exploit protection settings tab, where you can add specific settings for a program.
Disabling protections in general will not work
The workaround is to add a custom configuration specific to PRBF2.EXE, marking the option (override system settings, and keep the slider on disabled for all protections.)
